In 2013, the Yucaipa Calimesa Enrichment Foundation (YCEEF) was established as a nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving the educational opportunities of the students who attend public school in our community. Our purpose is to complement the efforts of the school district by helping to fund innovative programs and a world class education to the students by:
Assisting in the development and support of enrichment opportunities in the fine and performing arts, career/technical, online and/or summer courses.
Supporting the funding and distribution of financial awards to students, teachers, or teams of teachers to assist with educational endeavors and innovative programs for which there is no funding.
Examples of grants awarded: Drones for middle school cartography classes, camera and green screen for Yucaipa High School’s Thunderstruck Newscast, the Sky Dome digital star projection system for elementary students to navigate the night sky, books for a community and middle school book club. Grants are awarded annually and applications become available to teachers in the spring.
YCEEF can help you change lives for the better and meet the needs of our students in perpetuity. Pooling our money can make more of an impact than you imagine when your gift is combined with the support of others who share your vision for our children. The Supporter fee is just $20 a year. Donations of any amount are appreciated. The YCEEF board meets every other month. You are welcome to attend. Please contact us at info@yceef.org for time and date.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Yucaipa-Calimesa Educational Enrichment Foundation (hereinafter, “the Foundation” or “YCEEF”) is a voluntary organization comprised of committed community leaders who are dedicated to improving the educational opportunities--including the academic, artistic, and career/technical education needs--of the students who attend school in the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District.
